Studio Ghibli

The best animation studio in the world. And this is no understatement.


Over the years, the tandem of Hayao Miyazaki and Isao Takahata have made millions of fans dreamers. With their amazing storytelling, emotional background music and unmatched animation, Studio Ghibli movies have enchanted audiences all around the world since its conception in 1985.

I have a DVD collection of all Ghibli movies, as well as an OST collection. My personal favorites are My Neighbor Totoro (the first Studio Ghibli film I watched), Laputa: Castle in the Sky, and Spirited Away.

I'm a fan of Japanese animations myself. I saw most of the film from Studio Ghibli. My favorite is 'Spirited Away' but I'm very impressed with 'Graves of the fireflies', I cried every time something reminds me of the movie.

Lily ~ I love Grave of the Fireflies but I decided never to watch it again because it was hardcore drama. The film brought me to tears.
