Exactly one year ago Seung Hui Cho killed 32 people and wounded others before committing suicide, in the campus of Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (Virginia Tech) in Blacksburg. The incident received media coverage internationally. It also drew worldwide commentators to criticize US laws and culture about gun violence, gun laws, gaps in the US system for treating mental health issues.
