A Math Question

I recently solved a math problem involving Diophantine equations. A friend of mine sent this via email

Using numbers 1 through 9, complete the following layout so that each row and column of three numbers, when multiplied together equal the same number.

Since there are only seven spots, not all nine numbers will be used.

Are you up to the challenge?

Yup, that's the answer! Actually, the 8 and the 1 may be interchangeable in the right vertical branch, while the 6 and 3 are also interchangeable in the left vertical branch. Also, the entire vertical branch may be interchanged with the other vertical branch and will still yield the same results.
