The Seven Wonders of the Ancient World was the first known list of man-made structures that were regarded as remarkable works by ancient historians. Because these early historians traveled throughout the Mediterranean area, the original list of the seven wonders were likewise situated in the Mediterranean.
Recently, the new Seven Wonders of the World was released by The New7Wonders organization after being voted by more than 100 million votes. Here are the new Seven Wonders of the World:
- Great Pyramid of Giza
- Hanging Gardens of Babylon
- Statue of Zeus at Olympia
- Temple of Artemis at Ephesus
- Mausoleum of Maussollos at Halicarnassus
- Colossus of Rhodes
- Lighthouse of Alexandria

The Pyramids of Giza, one of the original Seven Wonders, has been named an honorary wonder.

among the new 7 wonders of the world, i find the Jesus statue in Brazil to be the least deserving. I think the voting was done online? The entire Amazon might have been given internet access to vote. LOL
wow...a great post!! I've been really interested in the seven wonders since i was young.
i visited one of them - the stone henge. I thik it was in the seven wonders about 10 years back or so. Was it? ahaha...it was spectacular.
