Cave of the Winds

In the American side of the Niagara Falls, a must-see attraction is the Cave of the Winds.

A $10-entrance fee is all that's needed to get to the famed landmark. For children, this fee is $7. This entitles you to a bright yellow raincoat and a pair of sandals you'll need to as you get closer to the American Falls. After taking the elevator, a hallway brings you to the Cave of the Winds.

The Hurricane Deck is a must-see for those who would want to experience the falls even more. Clad in your yellow raincoat, you'll not only get to feel the mist, but you can actually go under the falling rapids and feel the chill of the cold water gushing down.

At the end of the trip, you'll be asked to donate your sandals to the poor, to those not fortunate enough to have anything to cover their feet.
