After months of campaign, Barack Obama secures the US polls today by becoming the 44th US President. Obama of the Democratic Party is the first President of mixed African-American descent.
Rival, Senator John McCain conceded after an overwhelming majority in top electoral colleges. Now we shall see if the change promised is done.
