Twilight is one of today's most popular adult romance novels. Written by Stephanie Meyer, the book is actually the first in a series. As such, its movie adaptation will also be highly anticipated.

Bella Swan, surprised by the new attention she receives from her new classmates in her new school, is likewise equally puzzled by the attitude of classmate Edward Cullen. Bella discovers the mysterious truth about Edward who is after all, a vampire. She eventually becomes inexplicably attracted to him even if she thought that he drank human blood. He reveals that he initially avoided Bella because her blood smelled so desirable. Later, she expresses her desire to turn into a vampire like Edward.

Twilight opens this week in theatres.
